CT Dose OCR

CT Dose OCR is a program to convert graphical CT dose screens from legacy CT systems into text, to allow for automated parsing, database generation, and data mining.

The program uses graphical fonts extracted from dose screens of GE, Siemens, Toshiba, and Philips scanners. Since there is no image noise in the dose screens, an exact glyph matching algorithm can be used to eliminate conversion error. Bitwise checksum hashing is used to speed up comparisons.
